How to use
Wash before first use. Preheat gently on a low to medium flame with a little oil or ghee, never empty. Use wooden or silicone utensils to protect the tin lining.
Care instructions
- Wash with mild soap and warm water; avoid abrasive scrubbers that wear the tin (kalai) lining.
- Clean the copper exterior with lemon and salt or tamarind to restore its shine.
- Dry immediately after washing.
- Re-tinning (kalai) every year or two keeps the lining in good shape with regular use.
